Be careful with this one. I saw a Farmall M reversed this way in NZ. I think the actual change was done at the diff. It worked fine. The danger is the unit becomes unstable at anything above working speed with the tricycle wheels now at the rear. The one I knew flipped over going along the road and pinned the driver to the road by the steering column in his knee. Took a while to get it off him. Not so many tractors with loaders on around then. He did survive but had a REAL crook knee for a LONG time.If you think your tractor would not become unstable in this configuration just try letting your car or ute coast down a hill backwards. you'll soon have the brakes on!!
