Sorry for the confusion. I was talking total hours. The tractor was purchased new in 63 and was the main tractor for a few years, but also ran a corn sheller until 1985(Dad sold his, but in 2000 I bought one again). The first time the engine was torn down was at 18,000 hours, then that overhaul only lasted 4,000 hours. The tractor now has over 30,000 hours, and I use it to do a little field work now and then, and do a few custom shelling jobs in the summer.
