The problem with E85 is that it's a false economy. You only get slightly more out than you put in, and that's only if you're using the most modern efficient farm equipment and trucking. An old smoke-bellowing 1066 is going to use way more fuel on an acre of corn than a shiny new Magnum. the old GMC with "Screaming Jimmy" farm dumptruck gets about half the miles per gallon as a new Peterbilt 10-wheeler hauling the corn to the mill.
Yes, it drives the price of corn up, but it's all a sham that's subsidized by the government. It's not market driven at all.
Plus, you're telling FARMERS to buy their own products! That's the stupidest thing of all. You get diddley squat for your raw materials, then pay retail to buy finished product back?
