Think your tractor started out as a regular SM and the extra trans top may be the original one. Thats probably suposed to be a W on the end of date code instead of a V. Nov. 27 1951. Engine casting numbers, serial number and chassis numbers match a original early SM. The A on chassis and engine means it was equiped to run distilate fuel. J was rockford clutch. Trans top on there now indicates tractor may have been converted in 1957 or later. Bet Wardner would like to have that gear box drive.
