I have a 1979 1440 combine with the non-turbo 436 engine. The combine has 4250 hrs. on it. I have been getting it ready for beans and while running it around the yard some oil has been slobbering from where the muffler clamps on to the exhaust manifold. It did not do this last year do you think this is something that will clear up after it gets run out in the field. The combine had 4130 hrs. on it when I bought it a few years ago. Two years before the fellow that had it before me traded it off he had taken the head off and had it gone through. And he thought he had done the injectors at the same time. He said he did this to improve the starting. Any thoughts on what could be causing this. Thanks for your help.
