And red and green have the highest levels. This is one of the reasons why you could only buy those two truck colors from IH for many years. High lead equaled durability in the old paint formulations. When I think of old Mack trucks, anything other than those two colors seems out of place.
I would search on-line or in the Yellow Pages for a lead paint remediation program. Whoever answers the phone will be able to direct you to a service that may be able to help you. Lead blood levels can be reduced through a process called "chelation". Look that up too.
I believe sooner is better than later. The lead can lodge in your bone tissue and then re-emerge slowly for many years later.
