Jamie: You have to unbolt the entire front-end from tractor at front of engine. That is the easy part. Place wedges in front axle pivot, drain and disconnect radiator the remove the four bolts that hold front-end to engine. Jack it with a bottle jack under clutch housing. Put a set of vice grips on steering shaft down near steering box, in such a way steering can't turn. You can wheel the front end away in one piece. I have short section of 1.5" square stock with a leg, I put in cultivator mount. The leg points backward from axle, allowing the front end to stand alone. Doesn't hurt to hang something about 50# on that leg, just so front-end doesn't tip forward.
Now the real work begins, crank pulley is pressed on and if your like most of us you'll find yourself making a puller. There are some nice photos and instruction in the archives on this from two winters ago. Look under names Pete and R Pete, El Toro and Keith & Shaun. El Toro is around here quite regularly, the other two may be quietly reading, but haven't said much lately. If they are around, I'm sure you will have it all by nightfall.
