A fellow Chief, and friend is in charge of a division that has a "media" blaster that they use for aluminum. He thinks they use some sort of plastic bead. He said it takes paint off great, but doesn't know if it will tackle rust.
Anyone ever try such a thing? I'm going to take a rusty part tomorrow to give it a shot and see.
