Ok I found the wire that hooks to starter and hooked it up. Here is my next question. Will a generator generate like it should running both counter clockwise and clockwise? The reson I ask is when I bought this tractor someone had a belt running the gen. that had a twist in it so the gen was turning oposite the engine. I put the right belt on it this morning and now the gen is turning the same direction as the engine. I notice now the amp gauge stays nutural and the neadle flicks. Thanks for the help.
