well did you make sure that you were in the compression stroke of #1 before you pulled the pump off . If you just pulled the pump off with out first setting it at 16 degrees BTC and also making sure that the timing lines in the pump were aligned then HUSTON WE GOT A PROBLEM HERE . So now Pull the pump back off go around to the right side of the tractor and remove the two 1/4 inch bolts on the timing hole in the bellhousing and remove the cover then put the two bolts back in the timing pointer to hold it in place Next i would remove the valve cover and make sure that you are indeed on #1 compression Then line up the timing marks in the pump timing window and put the pump on and tighten everything down and she should be ready to rock and roll .
