I also have a 48 MD which runs good, but seeps oil from the head gasket on the gas side and leaks from other gaskets as well. I'm pulling the head as we speak to replace gasket and grind valves. Bates Corp. has a lot of the things you will need, number is 800 248-2955. As the other gentleman says, parts for these tractors aren't cheap and stuff can add up quickly.
