Scotty, I thought maybe I'd have the same problem, especially if I painted it on the OUTSIDE of the door. We live on 9 acres which is next to a nice residential area and I really didn't want it to look too garish. So I painted it, then asked the minister of public works (finance minister had no say in the matter because I used paint I had on hand) to come out and "look at something new in my shop". I knew her first reaction would be an automatic negative (she ain't into tractors), but also knew that she immediately would be grateful that I didn't paint it on the outside of the door. So after a long 10 seconds, she said diplomatically "That's very nice". Even though it's my shop, this is one of those rare "win wins" you get when you have been married 43 yrs. What I'd really like is a big mural on the outside of the door with a Canadian lake and showing a big walleye cruising just below the surface. Ain't gonna happen on the outside, but I do have another door.... LA in WI
