My H had been idling up and down by itself so I did some checking and the bracket that holds the carb float is egged shaped were the pin goes threw. I rebuilt the carb years ago but that bracket doesnt come in the kit. Looking to buy just the bracket or a used carb if someone know where I can get one. Also I've been wondering if my volt reg. is bad. Seems like my battery will stay charged for months until I use my lights after dark, then It drains the batt. and next time I try to start it the batt is dead. What a easy way to check it, w/ volt meter? Also someone told me an easy way to check to see if generater is charging is to pull the batt cable and see if it dies??? Is he right?? Thanks Ryan PS Love to see everyones photos out in the fields this time of year. I'm gonna get me a camera so I can post my own pics.
