Don't be confused, because there were technically 3 tool boxes offered. One came on the standard curved pipe seat. The one with the spring sticking up at the base on the front. The "tool box" was more a container, than a "box". The second, and the one I'll bet the one you are referring to, is the "Light Bar Tool Box", which mounts in front of the light bar under the steering shaft. These were an option, and I've never seen one on an H other than on a restored show tractor. The third was one that attached to the side rail next to the engine. This may not have been an IH option, but I have seen them on a few show and working tractors.
