To put a gear driven pump on it you will need a front cover and cam gear from a 1951&1/2 or newer H,SH,300,350. This (along with the pump) will make it a very nice live system. The stock cam drive gear is not up to the added load. (some have had luck with it but sense you are changing the cover to match the pump spacing, it is the time!) There are several examples of extra pulleys being mounted to the front crank pulley to drive a hydraulic pump in the parts and Pieces gallery. There is plenty of power to do all appropriate loader work. JimN
