Bryan, From your description, not quite sure what exactly is the problem but if it isn't cracked or rusted through there is a good possibility you can take the manifolds off and take them to a machine shop and have them mill the mating surfaces flat again. Then find some good thick gaskets and use new bolts after you chase the old threads in the block. The muffler is usually held to the outlet of the exhaust manifold with some type of clamp. If it’s horizontal it probably has to have a second hanger somewhere also. I would bet there are a few old engines of that type laying around at wrecking yards but you have to research your part numbers and be able to discuss what your needs are in an articulate manner.
