If there are no marks on pulley and you do have marks on flywheel, there should be a pointer made of stamped light metal and is held on with same bolts that hold the little cover on. It is cover on right upper side of clutch housing and not lower cover.. Just eyeball straight across from the two bolt holes that hold cover on and straight down to flywheel and you will be good to go. Finding number one compression versus number six has already been covered.
