I just did this job on my 140 last month. Easy enough provided the wheels are not spaced in to the max where they get in your way of removing the bolts. New gaskets are very reasonable from CaseIH.
Everyone seems to have their own way of doing things that work for them, but I am not a user of RTV on gaskets - especially paper or felt. I used a thin coat of gasket sealer (copperhead) on the pan side of the gaskets to hold them in place while I reinstalled the pans. I also put a little on the threads to prevent leaks and to act as a preventive measure for the bolts coming loose. Get the bolts snug, but not extra tight so as to prevent bending the flange on the pans. I started with the center bolts and worked out toward each end.
