I'm assuming I have a 6v coil on my distributor. But to be honest, the tractor had no battery when I got it, and the previous owner wasn't even sure what voltage the system was when he last had ran it. He believed it was 6v. But the wiring was a mess, and the battery cables were thin, so it could have very well been 12v. I'm running 12v now, and would like to know what my coil is? I looked at the coil and didn't see any markings. It's just black. So how can a person tell if is 6 or 12?
