When replacing the knives, put a thin film of grease on the roll before installing the knife--keeps moisture/ corn sap from getting in between & causing oxidation. If you are replacing gathering chains, take a good look at the sprockets for wear. If worn badly, replace them--will save wear on the new chains. Dust isn't a problem right now is it Gary? 2.8 inches total.
