Hi had fuel probs on and off with mine. every time I run out of gas it makes a mess in the carb. so I got the bright idea of adding a fuel filter. I had more fuel problems for a whole summer. then one day I was looking at filters for my riding mower. they had filters for riders with or without a fuel pump. I bought one for a rider with an 18 hp and no pump. tractor runs great and I don't get the prob if I run it out of gas. jeff
