three possible problems from the photo's, first the bracket on these wasn't adjustable, it will work just set it so you don't have interferance problems with hood etc., second misalignment of pulleys can be solved unbolting gen. from bracket, move it the direction needed to align pulleys use washers on bolts to space correctly,third use adjustable pulley to tension belt, be sure set screw locks back into one of the slots ,if belt won't tighten when pulley is screwed together you will have to get the correct one.
