Nice rig. Looks like 10 quart and 20 quart freezers. Big bucks on those and they don't come up for sale on eBay.
I am thinking along his lines by having multiple freezers. Probably start out with four small freezers and go from there. There is no reason why I couldn't have a dozen. And you gotta have an ice chipper. Nice job on that.
Seems like the hygenic considerations are not being considered among these confectioneers. It would seem to me that one also needs lots of hot water. There should be a heat exchanger connected to a garden hose or tank somewhere on the tractor.
I can't wait to start my training and having an unlimited supply of ice cream. Speaking of training, there is a College of Ice Cream in Philadelphia. I think it is a two week course.
I included the picture below to let you know that I have made an investment in the business. It will probably plug into the front fast hitch. The only problem is I have owned it for two years and it is not getting any better with age. It is complete and may still be operational. Don't know whether to store it inside or outside. If it goes in the barn, it could get banged up.

Today's Featured Article - Oil Bath Air Filters - by Chris Pratt. Some of us grew up thinking that an air filter was a paper thing that allowed air to pass while trapping dirt particles of a particles of a certain size. What a surprise to open up your first old tractor's air filter case and find a can that appears to be filled with the scrap metal swept from around a machine shop metal lathe. To top that off, you have a cup with oil in it ("why would you want to lubricate your carburetor?"). On closer examination (and some reading in a AC D-14 service manual), I found out that this is a pretty ingenious method of cleaning the air in the tractor's intake tract.
