I thought I had my insurance issues all resolved by going with J.C. Taylor. Well, they will cover the tractor with liability insurance. No problem. I can even use it in parades. No problem.
The problem, that wasn't explained to me when I originally spoke to them, is that I can't PULL anything with the tractor! Are you kidding me? It's a tractor! But they won't cover me if I'm pulling anything. I have to sign a paper that says I won't pull or haul anything or any one!
Unbelievable!
I've called Grundy, they don't cover tractors. Hagerty, they won't cover pulling. Farmers, State Farm, Allstate, USAA... all a no go.
One possibility of hope I have is with Westpoint Insurance Group. I just got an application for single event insurance. Hopefully it will be cheap enough to keep my plans alive.
