One tank or Two ?? if only one tank pull the wire off the sending unit and ground it and if the gauges goes to full then it is the sending unit in the tank if nothing happens then ya got to check and see if you are getting any juice to the gauge in the dash . If it has two tanks then you have to ground both as one will only make it move to half a tank reading
