The battery may or may not be good. Insure theres electrolyte above all the plates (and none exhibit a gray or milky off color) and let it try n charge for a while as it may take some time BUT THAT DEPENDS A LOT ON YOUR CHARGER AND ITS CAPABILITIES.
Perhaps the charger is circuit breaker equipped and she may be pulling too many amps so she trips but then re sets.
Other times depending on the charger she may not draw many charging amps for a good while but then finally start to charge.
Other times there may indeed be a battery short so she tries to draw more amps then the charger can supply and it trips out and she will NEVER CHARGE
Many auto supply houses will check a battery for free including a load test if she ever takes a charge that is??
