Ok on a 706 gasser make dead sure that you have full stream flow from the tank to the carb . Next make sure that the ing. timing is set dead on for the engine you have as a C263 sets different then a C291 , next make sure that you are using 93 octane fuel ONLY . Next all The gassers are really cold blooded and will need the use of the choke till they warm up . Also the heat riser in the exhaust manifold must work.
