Voltage is your problem. The more voltage your coil is putting out, the more interference you will cause. Shielded wires and resistor plugs will help, if that still doesn't do the trick you may want to see if you can shield the coil.
If all else fails, and you need to run a generator with your tractor, look into a Faraday cage. Basically a grounded copper mesh enclosure, this will contain all of the EM interference.
PS if you ever want to disrupt all computers, radio, tv, etc, build a reasonable size Tesla coil. I had some friends that inadvertantly over powered a nearby radio antenna with theirs. They got a nice warning from the FCC once they figured out what was causing the problem.
