Greg- Sounds like a good idea to me! I've pondered it several times over the years, but never actually got into giving it a try. Go for it and post your findings! Check total lock to lock linkage travel and see how it matches up with the Ford booster rod travel. If there is a big difference it will require some sort of geometry re-design. I'd stay away from messing with the tractor's hydraulic system. My thinking is that there would be less overall trouble in the long run if you revise the alternator belt drive system to include a PS pump just for the PS unit. If need be, put a dual sheave pulley on the alternator and drive the PS pump off of it. Again, please post your findings. Good luck, IHank
