My question is , does it actually blow the fuse or melt the end connections. Often times a fuse holder will lose it's tension and or also have corroded contacts which will cause fuse to get hot and melt rather than actually blow as a short circiut for overload would do. If it takes a little while to burn out and fuse is hot your holder is problem. Just something to look for as it is very common. Fuses should always run cool.
