It is wet sleeve with Large cross section O rings at the spigots into the crank case. They can and do leak. there are also possible internal cracks and welch plugs that can rust through, (head gasket as well. I would say if it is leaking coolant put a pressure checker on it and pull the pan to see where it is getting into the bottom end. A good light and a rain cap to suit will do it. JimN
