simple 12v conversion , no lite bulb.

I have seen several conversions using a bulb in the harness, I have used a harness available to do this several times, it works with a delcotron alt.
It is made by JIMCO INC. part # W280. 1-800 821-7137
The kit has the plug for the alt with a diode built in with instructions. I get it from my local auto supply for about $12.
How about another forum for mechanic tricks of the trade, I see a lot of tractor nuts struggling with general, [simple] problems. I have been turning wrenches for 35 years, and would like to show off my talents to anyone that could benefit from the grey hair that I have grown, what do you all think????
