The drive gear mounts on a shaft that is attached to the tractor, take out a bolt that attaches the gear to the shaft, gear comes off, shaft stays on tractor. the driving shaft should be on all those tractors, at least all I have seen. Should be able to see bolt if you look between the gear and the housing, should be like a 5/16" or 3/8" bolt.
