Springs on the lift rods??? There should't be any springs on the lift rods for a fast hitch. It sounds like you have some cobbled up thing using the cultivator lift rods.
Nope, I said spring, as in ONE spring. The helper spring assists the hydraulics in lifting the fast hitch, especially when something heavy is attached. Only 100s, 130s, and 140s have a place to attach one.
Without the helper spring your lift capacity is reduced.
