Well maybe its just me but when we bought our 584 both fuel filters had a drain cock on the bottom, and I have always asked for filters with the drain cock. Today the parts guy at Carquest told me I only needed a drain on the primary filter..so..what do you think? I assume the primary filter is the first filter from the tank..I never had a problem the way I did it and I used to always drain both, more water came out of the first, but sometimes I got a bit out of the second filter.
