I seem to have solved the problem with the steering issues my stuck 460 had last week. All it was was few rust frozen parts at the universal/support bearing. Like a few guys said, rust was my problem. Hit it with lots of penetrating oil and a few taps with a hammer. Problem solved. I'm glad it was so simple and not some of the worse case senarios that a few people shared that it could be! Now to get it into the shop for the fun to begin...
