No, I have never warped the valves. And I have never seen it happen either. I was one who called BS on that whole theory. Guessing on this forum is what I have a problem with. I know there are some darned sharp people here. Unfortunatley they keep their mouths shut alot of the time for fear of being jumped by the "experts" who in all actuality don't know sheeet from shinola but who are more than willing to think they know better because they have heard it from thier uncle's cousin's nephew's brother who overheard something in a coffee shop 30 years ago.
Before you ask, no I'm not an expert. I do know enough to know BS when I see it though.
