If you don"t use the tractor much it"s probably normal. Usually a milky tinge to the oil would indicate water contamination, which if it doesn"t get good and hot on a semi-regular basis it almost certainly will have. If you just let it run for an hour (rather than used it for an hour) you won"t even have got that engine to operating temperature. As the engine runs a certain amount of the combustion gases will leak past the rings, a portion of these gases is water vapour. If it"s cool outside the water vapour will condense and mix with the oil vapour coming out the blowby tube. This is most likely what you"re seeing. Sam
