I have Saginaws on my Super M and my Super H. Personally, though, I am not a full-time farmer, (nor the son of a farmer, etc.) - I just like the convenience of having them here on the place. I will say this: They are strong! I have two-way valves on both tractors and I like having both up and down pressure. If I don't want down pressure, I just pull the pins at the upper links.
The only disadvantage is that these old tractors were made to climb upon from the rear. Not so easy with a mounted 3-point. So..... I have just about completed my newly fabricated step, which mounts in front of the rear axle. When that is done, it will be a near perfect set-up.
