I have a IH 454 71 model (4 cy, 40 HP) that I am having some trouble with the hydraulic lift. It leaks down with a load and is weak in lifting. Some have told me that I need to rebuild my draft control cylinder assembly. This consists of removing the lift cover and replacing some Orings. Is this a difficult job for the shade tree weekend tractor mechanic or should I take it to a real mechanic. Thanks for any advice.
