I also have a aftermarket 3 point hitch on my Super H that I have had for about 20 years. It is mounted off the drawbar mounts on the axle. The hitch is operated off the tractor hydraulics. The problem is that adjusting the depth on things like plows, mowers, etc. is tricky because you just have to look back at the cylinder position to get the right depth/height. I also have a 3 point hitch log splitter that I drive off the tractor hydraulics. The problem with this setup is that you have to convert the single acting hydraulic system to a two way system. The second problem is that the Farmall hydraulics of that era only have a max pressure of 700 - 800 psi which is marginal unless you have a big cylinder on your log splitter. Mine works OK on oak and other wood that is easy to split, but if you are splitting elm or something hard to split it doesn't work very well. Roger
