Can't answer any of the legal questions but if you want a comfortable tractor to run into town look at the 1939 Minneapolis-Moline model UDLX Comfortractor. Only 123 were built but looks good enough to take to church and work the dirt on the way home. They are pictured in a book titled "Classic and Collectible Tractors" on page 72 and 73. It is credited with being the first cab tractor. There are a couple shown in the tractor photos galley on this site - search on UDLX to view. Just had to share, Hal.
