Although some parts will work on other tractors and it would work complete on a 350 also. Reason I say 300 is because the 2 valves that would be to the right side of tractor when mounted, don't have the extended shafts to change from single to double acting cylinder use. Which they have on a 350 or 450. Then there's the reservoir housing which only fits 300 and 350. 400 and 450 tractors don't have the nose on the front of reservoir that hangs over the belt pulley gear box if equiped like the reservoir in picture. Also there's the date code and casting number. IH was putting R2 on the end of reservoir casting number well before 300 production ended. Steel hydraulic lines on front and support bracket only fit a 300 or 350. Unit in picture wasn't equiped for the type of power steering atachment IH offered.
