There are some other external things you can look for. The 10-20 had 42" steel wheels, the 15-30 52". The steering shaft on the 10-20 is open almost all the way down to the throttle/spark levers. On the 15-30, the shaft is enclosed almost up to the wheel. The 15-30 has an extra strap over the gas tank, about 1/4 way back from the front. The pulley on the 10-20 is 15-1/4" x 7" and the 15-30 pulley is 16-3/4" x 9". There is also a difference in the appearance of the steering box, which I can recognize but can't really describe--don't have any pictures of it here. Most of what I wrote above came from an IHC tractor brochure from the early 30s, and I took the specs from a specs page. Hope it is helpful.
