But I am NOT talking about just non-OEM. The ONLY IH condenser I have ever found for the C-123 with IH distributor 6V or 12 V battery ignition is 353903R92 that crosses to the IH200 at NAPA. As far as I know, IH thought it was 'correct' for both the 6V and 12V setups and their respective coils. I don't mean to be combative, but if there IS a 'correct' IHC capacitor for a 12V C-123 (other than 353903R92), I'd like to find out. I admit I did my research quite some time ago, and things may have changed or I may have had dummies at the IH and/or NAPA parts desks. This is also the only condenser currently listed on the CIH site for several other C-series gas engines with similar IH distributors. I am just wondering if IH simply decided that condenser was "correct enough" when they switched to factory 12V in 1963 or if I missed something all these years.
My points have always outlasted the distributor caps, which is the ignition component that always fails first for me (IHC or NAPA).
