Did you look at the pump?

Again, a DC (double) pump on a four cylinder engine does not make much sense.

I checked through some DC pump numbers. There weren't many made and it came out in 1967 and was originally made for Deere.
For IH, I find a DCGFC627-4JN used on a six cylinder model 1486 tractor. Same #s as what you gave except for the "6" for six cylinders.
