Several years ago, two nicely restored 350D high crops brought $20,000+ each at an auction.
If you are selling, you should contact someone like Aumman Auctioneers and ask them what upcomming auction your tractor will fetch the best price. Get a pre-auction estimate too. Check with Polk, and others, as well. These guys know the market but will probably inflate the pre-bid value to some extent.
I think auction prices have slipped in the past several years. A SMTAD High Crop sold for $45,000 two and a half years ago. That same tractor has been resold twice since then. Last price was slightly over $20,000.
I am guessing your 300 high crop might bring $10,000-$15,000. Some people like good originals but others like shiny paint.
