Sounds like your coil or condensor is going dead. It is a classic bad coil sign when you can start the tractor when cold yet after awhile it stalls or will not restart. What you need to do is when it will not start pull a plug and check for spark. If you see none or a very fait/orange/yellow spark then the coil is bad. If you have anouther coil off anouther tractor or one lying around then its easy to try it. Only takes a few seconds to change one out.
