This post got me wondering about the B that I am in the middle of rebuilding. The serial number on the seat frame is 214800, but the engine has a part number of 6243 DH, the engine date casting is 7-31-Q and the engine serial number is M 213352 G with FAB under it. I don't have any history on this tractor but could it have been one of the last B's that may have had mismatched numbers? I'm not sure what the letters mean on the engine serial number either.
