Ok, I am one of the dial up gang and I did a little experimenting with the new photo ad format.
At first glance it seems like the page is opening very slow, but in fact it is only the thumbnail pictures that take a long time. The page text opens as always and it is all there just as it was before. You don't have to wait for the small photos to open to browse the page text.
